A Historic Fair Housing Agreement
On August 16, 2021, an agreement was signed between the US Department of Housing and Urban Development (HUD) and the Federal Housing Finance Agency (FHFA) to provide greater oversight over government-sponsored companies like Fannie Mae, Freddie Mac, and the Federal Home Loan Banks.
